First of all I am a Jimmy Buffett fan. My first Jimmy Buffett show was on Monday, August 14, 1978 at Gusman Center in Miami. Luckily for me the last portion of the live album You Had to Be There was recorded that night and made this historic album, including my personal favorite J.B. song Pirate Looks at Forty.
Since then I have attended many, solo and Coral Reefers shows over the decades in many locales, highlights including Live By The Bay (a typically humid Miami August evening) that produced the first live Jimmy Buffett concert video (VHS), and New Years Eve in Nashville, December 31, 2017.
My next personal highlight Jimmy Buffett show will be when he performs live at one of his Margaritaville Island Reserve All Inclusive Resorts by Karisma. And I will be in attendance! Fins Up and fingers crossed.
