Plan You Travel Adventure With Anita

 

My name is Anita Evans; I have been in the travel business for 30+ years. Travel has been a part of my life since early childhood. My middle-class family of 7 went on a "big" summer vacation every other year and on the opposite years we would drive to Colorado for a week. The "big" vacation included place like Yellowstone, Carlsbad Caverns, Mt. Rushmore etc. Wherever we traveled we drove and it was always an adventure!

 

I made my 1st travel goal in 8th grade: 50 states by the time I am 50. I successfully fulfilled that goal in my 50th year and shared my final travels with friends and family. Michigan with Amy, Idaho with Annie, Washington, DC with my mom and daughter (I know its not a state, but I thought it needed to be included in the goal) Oregon with Jane and lastly Ohio with Bev. But then it was like, That was fun but now I need a new goal! I knew it right away: 7 continents by the time I am 70! Well , I have one to go and plenty of time :-) Travel is my passion plain and simple. The travel bug bit me long ago and I am hooked.

 

People always ask me, "of the places you've been what's your favorite?" That is an impossible question to answer, there are so many beautiful places in the world, but in an effort I will list a few favorites:

*Safari in Kenya

*South Island of New Zealand

* Key West, FL

*Antartica

*Colorado

*NYC

and on and on…

 

I love selling travel and thoroughly enjoy working on vacation plans with my clients. It doesn't matter if it is a domestic trip or international trip, a honeymoon, a family vacation, or otherwise; for me,  it's all about  getting the best bang for that  buck and ultimately making wonderful vacation memories that last  a lifetime. To me,  that's what matters most. So, heed the words of  Mark Twain: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
